I think I would have purchased at least 1000 stick pins to give away while abroad. Apart from having a batch of more than average with no point on the pin and a few broken tails in some packets I find they are a wonderful little token to give and are appreciated by those who receive them. I currently spend most of my time in Vietnam where there is many people who are not as fortunate as most people in Australia and to be able to give them a kangaroo pin and see how appreciative they are to be given something for nothing is a terrific feeling for me.
I always purchase these kangaroo stick pins when I travel overseas - the children (and adults) just love them and it also identifies us quickly.

Kangaroo pins are a MUST. We always travel with Kangaroo Pins to give away when on holiday, especially in France. Because, if the French think you are a Pommie they will treat you with contempt. So we always wear one in our lapel, and give others away for good service, or a deserving child. Gold Kangaroo pins really work wonders as an introduction, and as an Aussie recognition ID.
You need to keep your price down or they will lose their benefit.
You should also sell them in packets of fifty please?
In any event we really very much recommend travellers buy Kangaroo pins and put them to good use.
I wouldn't travel overseas without them.
It is amazing how they break down barriers, solve language problems, reveal lost reservations, find a table in a full restaurant, make new friends and resolve difficult situations.
The product itself is well made and although only small is a welcome gift. The pin immediately identifies me as an Australian which gives me an advantage over some other English speaking nationalities.
