Shipping Information

We use Australia Post to deliver your purchase. Shipping costs are based on the packaging, total weight, cubic size of your order, and destination. Shipping costs for purchases up to 50kg in weight are automatically calculated and displayed when checking out (payment screen). For any purchase or combined purchases weighing in excess of 50kg we will contact you by email with the freight charge for your authorisation before your order is despatched. If you are using the printed order form to fax/mail to us we will contact you to confirm the freight charge before your order is despatched.

Incorrect delivery address details may result in your purchases being delayed or not being delivered, so please ensure your delivery address details are correct including the post/zip code. The cost of having to resend your purchase due to incorrect delivery address details are your responsibility.

Australia

For deliveries within New South Wales allow 3 - 5 business days. For deliveries within Australia excluding New South Wales allow 5 - 8 business days. A signature is required for most of our deliveries. If you are not home to take delivery a card will be left advising you to collect your parcel at the Post Office. If you know you will not be home, have your parcel sent to work or to a Post Office near work for collection (refer to "Delivery Address" on the order form or "checkout screen").

Express Post delivery is available but is more expensive. If you require "Express Post" please type/write "Express Post" in the "Additional Information" section at the bottom of the order form and we will email you with a price and obtain confirmation from you before we send your purchase.

The above delivery times are a guide only as we have no control over Australia Post, and as a result we cannot guarantee to deliver by a certain date.

 International

We use Australia Post Air Mail for overseas orders. The freight amount on your order is for Air Mail delivery. Allow 6 - 15 business days for despatch and delivery depending on destination. As a guide allow approximately 7 business days for delivery to New Zealand, approximately 10 business days to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States of America,  approximately 12 business days to the United Kingdom, parts of Western Europe, approximately 14 business days to the Middle East, and South Africa. This assumes there are no delays by Customs Authorities. Delivery times may be longer in peak mail periods such as the period leading up to Christmas.

Express Courier delivery is available but is considerably more expensive. If you require Express Courier please type "Express Courier" in the "Additional Information" section at the bottom of the order form and we will email you with a price and obtain confirmation from you before we send your purchase. We must have your agreement to the additional freight charge before we send your item by Express Courier.

If you are not in a hurry to receive your order we can send it via Sea Mail but be prepared to wait a month or more for delivery (depending on destination). Sea Mail is less expensive than Air Mail and we will refund the difference in the freight charge to your credit card. If you require Sea Mail please type "Sea Mail" in the "Additional Information" section at the bottom of the order form.

We cannot control what the postal service or the Customs Authorities here and overseas do and how long they take, hence we cannot guarantee to deliver by a certain date. Whilst we take great care to package/wrap your order Customs may open or unwrap your package for inspection.

As Customs laws and duties vary from country to country any customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or other charges incurred, or delays or confiscations by Customs authorities in the purchaser's country are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you are unsure about purchasing an item we would advise you to check with your local Customs Authority before placing an order as we do not provide a refund when items are refused due to Customs regulations.

Refunds & Exchanges

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any purchase you make from Australiana Online simply email or fax for a "Return Form" from us, complete the form and return the form with your purchase within 14 days of you receiving the product for a refund or an exchange (see below for "How to make a Return") . Products for a refund or an exchange must be undamaged and in as new condition. CDs & DVDs must be returned unopened. Upon receipt of the product at Australiana Online we will refund or give a credit for exchange, which ever you choose, for the entire purchase price including freight on the original purchase. Freight charges for return of goods to Australiana Online are the purchasers responsibility, we do not accept the return of goods sent Cash on Delivery (COD).

Where an order is for a quantity in excess of normal retail sales i.e a large corporate order, and we have to order in stock to satisfy the order we will only provide a refund if the product is faulty or not properly described in accordance with legislation.

Faulty or Wrong Products

If the product is faulty, or is not the product you ordered please obtain and complete a "Return Form" and return the form with the product within 14 days for a full refund (including freight) or an exchange (see below for "How to make a Return").

Goods Damaged in Transit

Australiana Online take great care in packaging your purchase. If your purchase is damaged in transit in Australia you will need to return the damaged product to us along with the "Return Form" within 14 days for assessment.

If your purchase is damaged in transit overseas you will need to take the items purchased and the packaging to your local post office and obtain a "Damage Report" (Indemnity Report). Send us a copy of the "Damage Report", "Order Confirmation", and any digital photographs that may assist us with your refund.

Method of Refunds

Australiana Online Pty Ltd will refund to your credit card, or if payment was was made by cheque or direct deposit we can post an Australian Dollar cheque.

How to make a Return

All we ask is that you complete the following 3 easy steps:

• email or fax us for a “Return Form” and complete the details and sign,
