Taipan Cue - traditional
The Wood and other Parts
The 100% Australian Made 'Taipan Cue' is handcrafted from "blackbutt", a strong, durable and very beautiful Aussie hardwood cut from sustainable managed forests. The wood is kiln-dried to prevent any bending or cracking overtime and is backed by a 12 month warranty against any such shaft damage. The cue has a brass joiner & ferule and a professional tip. High technology glues are used in the fitting of all parts even as far as the tip, being fixed with Loctite high impact adhesive.
The Finish
No maintenance is required as the shaft is sealed with a special blend oil finish, which locks the first tung oil coat into the wood. The artwork has a triple protective estapol coat as well.
The Playing Quality
Taipan cues range between 21 and 23 ounces because of the solidness of the wood used. The balance of the cue is just under a third of the way up the 57 inch shaft so the cue plays as solid and true as you could posssibly wish.
The Package
Each cue comes with an "Artist's Profile", a "Certificate of Authenticity" signed by the artist, and is packaged in a nicely presented hardcase to protect it during transport and to complete your purchase as a professionally packaged unique Australian souvenir.
Not only is the Taipan a professionally made cue that plays straight and smooth it is also your own piece of authentic Aboriginal art.
